Review :
She's tall, beautiful and one of Bollywood's leading ladies. He's goofy, loves to wear outlandish clothes and is constantly getting into trouble with reporters. When Vicky Behl and Kritika Vadukut meet on the sets of the period drama Ranjha Ranjha, everyone agrees they have serious chemistry--not just on screen. But after her devastating breakup with Raunak Rajput, Kritika doesn't know if she can handle being with a Bollywood actor. If only Vicky wasn't so damn charming . . . Will the pressure and scrutiny of Bollywood allow them to live happily ever?
The book has two parallel love stories narrated alternately. The first one is of Vicky and Kritika and the second one is the love story of Heer and Ranjha, which is the story of the movie Ranjha Ranjha. I liked the parallel narration as it helped to keep me hooked. The story of Vicky and Kritika is a cliche, yet it is enjoyable. The language and humour are impeccable and the tone is sassy. All the elements of a good Bollywood movie are present in this book. Even the most minute details of the book have been well researched. Sudarshana and Arun are two interesting characters in this book. Ranjha and Heer's love story is an immortal one which shows that true lovers can never be separated. I think the cover of this book could have been better presented. If you like reading rom-coms, especially with a touch of Bollywood, this book is a good choice.
