Review:
Siddharatha Abhimanyu is a software engineer at Microsoft, Bengaluru. He meets Isha Reddy, who is the writer and director of three award winning short films. This book is the journey of their love through a lot of ups and downs.
The story begins at the Kempegowda International Airport where he is thinking about Isha. The story is their love story narrated by Sid. The story not only sounds unbelievable but is also a bit too cheesy. The way Sid describes Isha feels weird and creepy rather than romantic. I felt like he was objectifying her and his idea of beauty was restricted to the stereotypical fair, skinny woman with near perfect features. Iniatially, a lot is talked about her job but later it is completely forgotten. The character of Sid is a pushover and allows himself to be bullied by Niharika and others. Her character is also the typical villain of love stories but then after a while, she is also forgotten. The story lacked continuity and there were abrupt switches from one incident to another. The language and grammar had too many mistakes and a lot of editing needs to be done. Towards the end, the story suddenly becomes dramatic. Their wedding seemed completely illogical and unbelievable. The end of the book was also unrealistic and over dramatic. The overall story was good but it needs to be presented better.
