Review :
Working as an assistant wedding planner at an ex-boyfriend's wedding, Meha encounters the delectable handsome wedding photographer, Samir. Conceited and a flirt, Samir reveals that the bride happens to be his ex. Meeting coincidentally at their ex's wedding, Meha and Samir feel an inexplicable connect. But when Meha finds out that Samir is using their relationship only as experiential material for his novel, she leads him to believe that he means nothing to her. Their chapter closes. An interesting take on relationships in our times, Let's Have Coffee is funny, witty, warm and a wonderfully realistic love story.
This book starts with a destination wedding on the beaches of Goa. The female protagonist Meha is a wedding planner by profession. From there, a complicated emotional love story unfolds. Meha's glamourous job along with the exotic locations makes the book very happening and exciting. The story is dramatic but not unrealistic. The book is witty and has a lot of puns. Meha sings a lot of Bollywood songs at different instances to convey her thoughts and emotions. Her character is carefree and lovable. Samir's views on love shows how a lot of young people have a different perspective on love. The different places described in the book are drool-worthy. The story is a bit complicated but I enjoyed the book. We get an idea about how the younger generation views relationships and live-ins. The cover of this book makes you want to pick it up instantly. This is an extremely well-written book that can make a really cute romcom.
