Review :
Mahima is a teacher leading an ordinary life until the arrival of a new principal at her school. The new principal makes life miserable for Mahima and all the other teachers. Choosing not to be a victim, Mahima unites the teachers and inspires a mutiny against the principal. However, the principal will not go down without a fight. This book is a journey of their struggles.
This book has a very unique theme. Usually, books set in a school focus more on students rather than teachers but this book is an exception. The writing is simple and straight forward and the language is easy to understand. The book is fast paced so the readers will not get bored. When we read this book, we will be able to appreciate the various difficulties teachers face in their professional life. The character of the principal had more scope for development. The part where Mahima visits the house of the principal could have been avoided. I felt that it was unnecessary. The ending of the book felt incomplete and leaves the reader hanging with questions. Overall, a breezy and relatable read especially for those in the teaching profession.
Rating : 3.7/5
